So this is a first post using my new tablet – a gift from my daughter to help my “productivity” stay functional despite the hours I spend either at her place or in transit.  That “time out” has been a real problem – and one reason posts have been so sporadic – so here’s hoping this new bit of equipment will enable me to write, to catch those interesting ideas that arise in conversation and set them down for our public discourse. There is a learning curve involved – I have only just gotten the hang of getting on line, in fact – so it will take some time to master all the capabilities this thing actually has – so for awhile posts may be short – and sweet.
