Salvation

by Ysabeault d’Valar-Alba
February 23, 2013

We came to love change
and speed
the exhilaration of believing
we were close to divine

again this place

Before us now
a chasm yawns
that all our furious drive
cannot jump
only humility
redeem

again this place

How shall we
receive our humble pie
in the lofty place
we imagine?

But we are here, now, here

If it be love
of what or whom?
Breath and Blood
Bone and Sinew
in all that lives and dies
our kindred soul

we are here, soul in Soul, together

What we thought destination
is Destiny, an Immortal Circuit
relative to Time.
